چکیده
The use of antibiotics and dyes has resulted in severe water pollution health risks; therefore, it is urgent to remove them from sources. Among the most common methods for removing harmful contaminants, adsorption photodegradation are economical, simple, reusable. Due their high porosity, adjustability, crystal structure, metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) one effective adsorbents photocatalysts. A typical MOF material zeolitic imidazolate framework-8/67 (ZIF-8 ZIF-67), comprising essentially metal atoms Zn 2-methylimidazole (2-MIM). ZIF-8 ZIF-67 have unique properties that make efficient treatment due capacities being good hosts photocatalytic materials. In this article, a review study design synthesis composites presented. An introduction current research on role compounds as photocatalysts wastewater removal provided. study, we aim supply mechanistic perspective ZIF-8/67 purification present novel visions development extremely ZIF-8/67-based To unlock full potential dye antibiotic recycling, difficulties will be discussed detail.

Rapid synthesis of zeolitic imidazolate framework-8 (ZIF-8) nanocrystals in an aqueous system.
We report here the first example of ZIF materials synthesized in aqueous solution. The synthesis was performed at room temperature and typically took several minutes compared to hours and days in non-aqueous conditions. The obtained product were ZIF-8 nanocrystals having size of ~85 nm and showed excellent thermal, hydrothermal and solvothermal stabilities.

Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) are emerging material class for the past few years due to its tailorability characteristics for various applications. However, the research and development (R&D) of MOFs is still scarce for fuel cell system. This may be due to the several difficulties faced in selecting a good MOFs-based electrolyte, which consequently affects both proton conduction and methanol ...
متن کاملCarbon dioxide sensitivity of zeolitic imidazolate frameworks.
Zeolitic imidazolate frameworks of zinc, cobalt, and cadmium, including the framework ZIF-8 commercially sold as Basolite Z1200, exhibit surprising sensitivity to carbon dioxide under mild conditions. The frameworks chemically react with CO2 in the presence of moisture or liquid water to form carbonates. This effect, which has been previously not reported in metal-organic framework chemistry, p...
متن کاملIn situ crystal growth of zeolitic imidazolate frameworks (ZIF) on electrospun polyurethane nanofibers.
This paper reports for the first time in situ crystal growth of ZIF-8 on electrospun polyurethane (PU) nanofibers. In SEM images, continuous and compact ZIF-8 nanocrystals grow along electrospun PU nanofibers. The highest loading capacity of ZIF-8 on PU reaches 63%. By N2 adsorption-desorption, ZIF-8-PU shows a high surface area of 566 cm(2) g(-1). Combining the good flexibility of PU with the ...

Toluene was discovered as the structure template for the synthesis of large-cage RHO-type zeolitic imidazolate frameworks (ZIF-11 and ZIF-12) in an alcohol-based solution where benzimidazole-toluene interactions play a decisive structure-directing role; otherwise it leads to small-cage SOD-type ZIF-7 and ZIF-9 without toluene. The specific π-π interactions make toluene molecules adopt a specifi...
